American Corner Dominica Hour of Code Recap

Here's what happened at Hour of Code January 2024 at the Roseau Public Library:

17 Kids between the ages of 8 and 15 came to the Roseau Public Library to enjoy fun activities and learn key Computer Science concepts. They learned about Events, Functions, Variables, Conditional Statements and the Computational Thinking process. Some began their first voyage into building apps in JavaScript, while others built simple video games using some of the concepts they learned in unplugged lessons. The sessions were co-sponsored by American Corner Dominica, the Partnership Intiative for Sustainable Land Management (PISLM) and the National Telecommunications Regulatory Commission (NTRC).
